I have a feeling it’s gonna become a tradition to have at least one Latin influenced song per album. Who knows though, am I right? Only time will tell. This tune throws together latin/rock rhythms with many syncopated parts and odd time signatures, which in the end, all communicate together to form a catchy yet progressive banger that closes out side one of the album. Sunrise Ride always painted a picture in my head of an old western town, with a cowboy riding in during the early hours of the morning. A fitting image for such a song as this. As for the message behind this track, I would say it is pretty straight to the point. Life is just a ride. Whether you're on top of the mountain or are just making your first steps up the path, the true essence is to be present, and try to enjoy the positives as much as you can!
