Being the fact that we are all metalheads we couldn’t resist having a balls to the wall metal song on this album! During the first wave of the pandemic, all 3 of us were prevented from playing with each other, it was a difficult thing to process as all of us were hungry and ready to go start playing shows, this setback (a 3 month period) switch our priorities to writing and eventually recording an album once we could meet up again obviously, Jordan came up with Flick it during that break, he sent the song over which blew me and Felix away, it was killer! Fast forward through a couple of fine tuning, some clean guitar parts, a quick name change (“Corona Funk” being the original title) and a kickass metal outro and you get a number that connects with our heavier roots, but still has our flavour to it which doesn’t make it feel out of place with the rest of the album. - Kyle
